How to make an orange creamsicle cake

If you love creamsicles, you will love this cake. Whenever I ask my children what cake they would like for their birthdays, hands down, they always select the creamsicle cake.

Ingredients you will need

Cake mix of your choice: Orange Cake Mix; Yellow Cake Mix, White Cake Mix

• 2 small boxes of orange jello

• 1 box of French vanilla instant jello pudding mix

• 1 8 oz. container of Cool Whip

• 1 Cup of Milk

• 1 Cup of boiling hot water

Directions

• Blend cake mix as directed on the package, cool cake

• Boil water and blend with one box of orange flavored jello, mix until dissolved, allow to cool

• Poke holes in cake with fork or similar tool; pour jello mixture over the cake, place in refrigerator for about an hour

• mix one cup of milk with the instant French vanilla pudding, blend in one box of dry orange jello mix, blend this mixture into the cool whip

• Frost the cake with the Cool Whip mixture - serve or refrigerate until ready to serve

Keep any left overs refrigerated

Note - I have experimented with other flavors such as limesicle, lemonsicle - just substitute lime, lemon, etc. jello for the orange jello
